Easter
We are celebrating today, O God, a mixture of bunnies hiding colored
eggs and angels rolling away stones. Join us as we gather to share the
enjoyment of one and giving thanks for the other. Remind us Lord, as
we're caught up in well-worn traditions, and during this season of
spring and rebirth, that we understand what this day is really about.
FALL
Leaves fall gently to the ground
and make a forest bed,
while geese are forming perfect V's
as they fly overhead.
The nights are growing colder,
but days are sunny-bright,
and soon the winter snows will fall
to youngster's sheer delight!

Cowboy's Heart
Ther's a feeling deep in a cowboy's heart,
No matter how times may change,
That binds him fast to a world apart,
The world of the western range!
Snowfalls Snow falls over the trees,
Still and calm is the sea,
There is a hush o'er the land,
Christmas is almost at hand,
Peace alone reigns supreme,
Like in some wondrous dream,
You feel like newborn so grand,

Little fingers curl up tight to make a tiny fist,
As fairy lips purse out as if to make a gentle kiss. . .
Eyes, wide as a kitten's, and little button nose,
You look like someone's angel--down to your pudgy toes. . .
Although you are so wrinkled and your face is still so pale,
And the only song you seem to know sounds like a shrilling wail,
When you are here before me, finally, I feel complete.
I've waited so long, sweetheart. . . at last, we finally meet.

The leprechauns busily make their shoes and try hard not to be seen.
